TUC users accounts for access to e-Services
Users who are granted an account may use Directorate’s e-services. Services like e-mail, WiFi, VPN, students management system, asynchronous and synchronous e-learning platforms etc. require user authentication.
Whom it may concern?
Accounts are available to all TUC faculty, students, alumni, staff, affiliate and guests.
How may I get one?
Undergraduate and post-graduate students will automatically receive user account information as soon as they register to their department sectretariat.
All the others (faculty, staff, affiliate etc.) should contact with ISC personnel at admin@isc.tuc.gr.
Personal User Account
Every Person has its own user account and is responsible for its usage. The account consists of 2 attributes: username and password.
Authentication mechanism
Every time a user wants to access an e-service, he/she is prompted to authenticate himself/herself. This is accomplished by entering the given username/password pair. More specifically, whenever a user logs on to an e-Service application, the following window appears:
One of the main security concerns is to keep your password secret. Do not share it with anyone.
What Password should I use?
Passwords are confidential. Do not give your password to anyone!
Passwords have a number of restrictions:
- Your password must be at least 9 long.
- You can not use one of your last 3 passwords as a new password
- Password cannot contain your username
- Password cannot contain more than 2 consecutive characters of your fullname
- Your password must also meet at least three of the following four conditions:
- Contain at least one digit
- Contain at least one small latin character (a .. z)
- Contain at least one capital latin character (Α .. Ζ)
- Contain at least one special character !@#$%?
