Associations

An important part of the University experience is participation in an active, democratically-governed student union. It is through the unions that student views are represented on all the major university committees, particularly regarding the academic and social life of the students. The union council members are elected once a year by all the students who are enrolled in the unions through cross campus elections held on a date set by the Hellenic Association of Student unions.

TUC Undergraduate Student Associations

There are five undergraduate student unions at TUC, one per school, as well as an inter-school student union:

• The Student Union of the School of Production Engineering and Management
• The Student Union of the School of Mineral Resources Engineering
• The Student Union of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering
• The Student Union of the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering
• The Student Union of the School of Architecture
• The Unified Student Union of the Technical University of Crete

TUC Postgraduate Student Association

Postgraduate students from all postgraduate (Master's and Doctoral) programs at TUC have their own student association. Selected union council members serve as representatives.

Hellenic Association of Environmental Engineering Graduates

The graduates of the School of Environmental Engineering (now, School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering) have also formed their own union: www.enveng.gr
