    Marie Curie Fellowships - eligibility conditions

    There are currentrly great opportunities for Early Stage and Experienced Researchers to be Marie Curie Fellows at CERN and across Europe. In addition to attractive employment conditions, Marie Curie Fellows receive a generous training allowance and a wealth of opportunities for training in technical and management areas. There are a few eligibility conditionsQ

    Which degree?
    Early Stage Researcher - ESR: Generallly MSc - ESR applicants cannot have a PhD at the time of appointment
    Experienced Researcher - ER: Generally MSc or PhD

    What programme?
    Early Stage Researcher - ESR: Marie Curie ITN
    Experienced Researcher - ER:Marie Curie ITN & CERN COFUND Fellowships

    How much experience?
    Early Stage Researcher - ESR: Maximum 4 years after MSc
    Experienced Researcher - ER: Maximum 5 years including duration of PhD studies

    Which passport? No nationality restriction but see Mobility below

    Do I have to move abroad? Yes.

    Mobility ...
    Limit of 12 months residence in previous 36 months in the country of the institute / university you are applying to. Generally speaking, you cannot be recruited as a Marie Curie Fellow in your own country.

    What should I speak?
    You should be proficient in English - training in other languages can be provided through your training budget.
