SPIE (the international society for optics and photonics, spie.org) offers a free introductory webinar on semiconductor lithography/nanofabrication targeting students and scheduled for November 14, 2024, beginning at 8 AM Pacific Time.
SPIE is a professional society for people working on applications of optics and photonics. SPIE serves as an umbrella organization for companies and research institutions working on semiconductor IC nanofabrication. SPIE hosts two major conferences/symposia per year focusing on nanofabrication research for various devices.
Based on the published description, this free webinar will cover the fundamentals of IC nanofabrication, with some time dedicated to stochastic phenomena, especially in EUV lithography. The description also mentions/links to the information on scholarships/funding available, including the funding for student’s attendance of the major SPIE conferences.
