We are looking for motivated candidates to join us in advancing numerical modelling on urban flooding research through an exceptional PhD opportunity at Inria of the University of Bordeaux in Cardamom team !
Τhe phd position entitled " Advancing Flood Modeling: Integrating High-Order Numerical methods with Sub-Cell Limiting Techniques for Accurate Urban Flooding Prediction" is part of the RESCUER HORIZON-MSCA-2022-DN European project, in collaboration with prestigious institutions such as Inria, UNIVPM, AAU and BRGM.The role of the phD student will involve pioneering flood modelling techniques using Discontinuous Galerkin (DG) numerical methods, the use of the UHAINA code base and the use of high-performance computing systems for cutting-edge research with real-world applications.
