7th International Summer School on Wastewater and Biosolids Management, 11-24 of July 2022
We are delighted to welcome participants to attend the 7th distance education e-learning International Summer School and Workshop on “Wastewater and Biosolids Management” (WWSS22), July 11–24, 2022; a scientific event organized in the context of the Postgraduate Study Program “Waste Management”, by the Hellenic Open University (HOU).
The first Summer School of these series was organized on 2015 and since then tens of wastewater and biosolids experts from many different countries worldwide (China, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Germany, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Switzerland, Slovenia, Spain, UK, United Arab Emirates, USA, Tunisia, Turkey, etc.), participated as keynote speakers.
For the first time WWSS22 presents a two-week program, of which one week will be held exclusively with e-distance lectures (11-16 of July) and the second (18-24 of July) distance or live in Ancient Olympia. In the second week, participants are given the opportunity to visit Ancient Olympia and attend live seminars, participate in educational and cultural excursions.
For those who are thirsty for the latest trends in wastewater and biosolids management technologies, interested to be informed about representative case studies from all around the globe, willing to be trained by attending practical laboratory exercises and data analysis tools for measuring the basic wastewater parameters requested by regulations, and eager to broaden their networks and cultivate powerful connections, without restrictions of physical presence, this Summer School is the opportunity.
Master and PhD students as well as wastewater and biosolids professionals, equipment suppliers, public bodies and organizations will be able to present their work by e-posters.
The WWSS22 is entitled to award 2 ECTS credits for participation.
