Σύντομη περιγραφή του μαθήματος:
"Modern Electronic Security Systems and Efficiency" is a course on the subject of security systems design. It explains how to design a fully integrated security system that ties together numerous subsystems (e.g. sensors, controllers etc.) into one complete, highly coordinated, and highly functional system. With a flexible and scalable enterprise-level system, security decision makers can make better informed decisions when incidents occur and improve their operational efficiencies. The course covers why designing an integrated security system is essential and how to lead the project to success. Demonstrates how to maximize security while reducing liability and operating costs. The course helps students understand the various electronic security functional components and the ways these components interconnect. Providing a holistic approach to solving security issues, it also discusses topics such as integrating electronic functions, possible long-term issues and relations with other building control and monitoring systems.
