Στα πλαίσια της συνεργασίας της Σχολής ΜΠΔ με το Πανεπιστήμιο Leeds Beckett υπό το πρόγραμμα ERASMUS+ τη Δευτέρα 27 Απριλίου στις 17:00 στην αίθουσα Β1008 θα πραγματοποιηθούν οι κάτωθι διαλέξεις από καθηγητές του συγκεκριμένου Πανεπιστημίου. Παρακαλούνται οι ενδιαφερόμενοι να προσέλθουν

The importance of reducing greenhouse gases; Consequences of not doing this; Techniques for redesigning products and processes: Low GHG materials, Part count reduction, Recycling materials, Localising Manufacture; Umberto examples and case studies.

Leeds Beckett University, Course Leader for the MSc in Advanced Engineering and Management in the School of Computing and Creative Technology
After working in industry in the 70’s and early 80’s as both an apprentice and Design Engineer, Steve decided to enter the world of academia. After completing his PGCE, he got his first teaching job at CCAT (now Anglia Ruskin) in Cambridge, where he taught Maths, Engineering Science and Control of Systems. Steve taught at both Darlington Technical College and Teesside Polytechnic, where he was involved in CAD CAM , Computer controlled machine tools, robotics and simulation. He has co-authored two books in the areas of Manufacturing Technology and E-Manufacture. He has carried out a number of consultancies and teaching companies in the areas of CIM, measurement and design.
