  We are happy to announce the CESARE’14 International Conference “CIVIL ENGINEERING FOR SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCE” that will take place in Amman, Jordan between 24-27 April 2014. CESARE'14 is coorganized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Jordan University of Science and Technology (Irbid, Jordan), the Department of Civil Engineering, Aristotle University (Thessaloniki, Greece) and the School of Civil Engineering, University of Birmingham (Birmingham, United Kingdom).
  
  The aim of CESARE’14 is to emerge Civil Engineers for liveable built environment and disseminate the current research and development in the broad area of the conference themes highlighting the importance of Civil Engineering for Sustainability, Resilience and Robustness.
  
  By means of the present message, we would like to kindly invite you to participate to the CESARE’14 Conference. Please note that all Conference will be peer reviewed. Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. In addition, selected papers will be published in an internationally recognized journal (The Jordan Journal of Civil Engineering (www.just.edu.jo/jjce) ).

  Το τελικό πρόγραμμα του συνεδρίου έχει αναρτηθεί στο διαδίκτυο.
  
  Στο πλαίσιο του συνεδρίου CESARE'14 Civil Engineering for Sustainability & Resilience θα απονεμηθεί ο τίτλος του επισκέπτη καθηγητή στο Τμήμα Πολιτικών Μηχανικών του Πολυτεχνείου Jordan University of Science and Technology (J.U.S.T), στο Irbid της Ιορδανίας, στον καθηγητή του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης Γεώργιο Σταυρουλάκη και στον καθηγητή του Πανεπιστημίου του Birbingham και του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης Χαράλαμπο Μπανιωτόπουλο. Η τελετή θα διεξαχθεί στις 27 Απριλίου, παρουσία της πρέσβειρας της Ελλάδος στην Ιορδανία.
