Mrs Irit Ben-Abba, Ambassador of Israel to Greece, had a meeting with the Rector of the Institution Prof. V. Digalakis, with the President of the TUC Council Mr D. Tsichritzis and with the Vice-Rectors, Prof. E. Psillakis and N. Nikolaidis, during her visit at the Technical University of Crete on March the 3rd 2016.
They had a discussion about how to promote cooperation between the TUC and Institutions in Israel, focusing mainly on education, teaching-staff and student mobility exchange programs, funding research, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Mrs Irit Ben-Abba underlined that the Greek-Israeli relations are excellent and emphasized that it is her aim to strengthen Greek-Israeli relations even more. She has also expressed her willingness to support and promote the international relations between Israel and the Technical University of Crete, for the benefit of both parties.
The Rector Prof. V. Digalakis has mentioned that, so far, the Administration of the Institution has made successful contacts with representatives of Universities, Institutes and Israeli Technology Centers, with an objective to achieve further cooperation of the Technical University of Crete mainly on matters of entrepreneurship.
