The Reveil Sound and Ecology Festival, organized by the international artistic group Soundcamp Cooperative, returns with its tenth (10th) anniversary edition on May 6 and 7, 2023 with parallel events in various cities in Europe, the United Kingdom of England, America and of Canada. On Saturday, May 6, 2023, a series of actions will be presented in Chania that will be part of the Reveil Festival and will be hosted in two parts of the city with free entrance for the public: (a) the Flora and Fauna Preservation Park of the Technical University of Crete from 16:30 until 20:00 and (b) the RIDE café bar in the old port of Chania from 21:00 until 23:00. This year's program has been arranged by Dr. Maria-Eftychia Papadomanolaki, founding member of Soundcamp Cooperative. Additional information may be found on the Facebook Event.
FLORA AND FAUNA PRESERVATION PARK
16:30-20:00 Live broadcast of the 24-hour Reveil Radio Program in the Park area, with the support of Radio Entasi 93.5FM, in RIDE café bar and also online at soundtent.org/reveil/. Reveil broadcasts live soundscapes of the dawn (also known as the Dawn Chorus) from around the world.

About the Flora and Fauna Preservation Park
The Flora and Fauna Preservation Park of the Technical University of Crete is located in the area of SODY, behind the Venizelos Tombs. It extends over an area of 300 acres with olives, pines, the natural vegetation of Akrotiri and cultivated plants. Small animals and many birds appear at all hours of the day (there is a full list of plant species and animals on the Park website).
