International Award to TUC doctoral graduate for a traffic regulation system  

Anastasios Kouvelas, former doctoral student of the Department of Production Engineering & Management, now a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California at Berkeley, was awarded the second prize (together with a postdoctoral researcher from Stanford University) for Best Dissertation Award 2012 by the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society. The award ceremony took place on September 18, 2012 within the framework of the 15th International IEEE Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Anchorage, Alaska.
