International Award for Professor of the Technical University of Crete
The European Research Council approved as an Advanced Investigator Grant the funding of the research proposal TRAMAN21 (Traffic Management for the 21st Century) which was submitted by Prof. Markos Papageorgiou, Department of Production Engineering & Management.
The European Research Council approves every year about 300 proposals in each and every field of science, submitted by distinguished scientists, provided that the work will be carried out in universities within the European Union which act as the implementation body of the project. Proposals are judged based solely on the degree of excellence of the scientific responsible and the quality of the proposal.
