The Lab of Materials for Cultural Heritage and Modern Building (MaCHMoB) of the Technical University of Crete organized a seminar on ‘Protecting cultural heritage with modern materials and methods: applications to 20th century concrete monuments’, on February 15, 2020, at the Center of Mediterranean Architecture, Chania, Crete.
The workshop was addressed to Engineers, Conservators and Archaeologists dealing with the preservation of the cultural heritage and in particular with reinforced concrete structures. Innovative nano-technology materials, as well as construction control techniques will be presented.
The conference was organized as part of the program InnovaConcrete (Horizon 2020) by Professor Noni Maravelaki, Head of the Lab of Materials for Cultural Heritage and Modern Building Laboratory, TUC School of Architecture, Technical University of Crete.
