The Laboratory of Atmospheric Environment and Climate Change of the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Crete and the London-based Leverhulme Centre for Wildfires, Environment and Society organize on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 a hybrid workshop hosted at TUC's campus on the theme of Mediterranean forest fires. The event brings together scientists from various disciplines and key invited stakeholders working on forest fires in Greece and the Mediterranean region in general. Additionally, it will bring to the discussion the perspectives of key invited stakeholders working on this area. The aim is to advance the discussion on this topic and catalyze further research that will elevate our understanding of Mediterranean fires. The full program of the workshop is listed below.
People, who are not members of the Centre, but would like to join the workshop, are encouraged to email wildfire<at>imperial.ac.uk to receive the joining link or to express interest in being present in person.
