The Technical University of Crete (TUC), as a proud member of the European University on Responsible Consumption and Production (EURECA-PRO), organized InnoForum 2023 "Unlocking the Potential of Failure in Innovation" at “Manousos Manousakis" Amphitheatre on TUC Campus, on Tuesday June 6th, 2023. The focus of the event was to share valuable “know-how” in the area of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E), demonstrate how failure in innovation can lead to entrepreneurial success, and provide a stage to exchange ideas and experiences among established and aspiring, novice entrepreneurs within the EURECA-PRO as well as the local community.
During this hybrid event (participation with physical presence or via teleconference), presented in the English language, our invited speakers shared their experiences on turning failure to success, pivoting around obstacles and perceiving innovative approaches, methodologies and applications in I&E.
The InnoForum 2023 was immediately followed by the InnoExpo 2023, which received hundreds of visitors from the TUC and the local community. Our visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted (and occasionally taste!) the innovative products and get a hands-on experience of the innovative ideas and services of our exhibitors.
